Each day (Monday-Friday) Men are encouraged to read 1 chapter of Proverbs and text the group thread with the verse/proverb that they found to be most impactful and how they will apply that in their life. Others in the thread can encourage, pray for, and provide insight/feedback to the others. Many of us are just waking up to the fact that we need recovery. We might define recovery this way: It is the simple but challenging process of daily seeking God’s will for our lives instead of demanding to go our own way. It involves letting God do for us what we cannot do for ourselves while also taking the steps necessary to draw closer to our Creator and Redeemer. It is allowing God to heal our wounded souls so we can help others in the process of their own healing. All of us need to take part in this process because no one is perfect. It’s an inherent part of being human. Our goal as we meet each week is to begin planning for a Life Recovery Community at CPC that brings Twelve Step recovery back to its original source—God’s Word.

This ministry is all about middle schoolers, grades 6-8. It gives them an opportunity to grow and serve at such a pivotal age. When teens sign up, they will commit to growing with discipleship material on prayer, worship, and other foundational areas of their walk with God. They will implement their learning by loving on the kids in KidPoint each Sunday. As they grow, these teens will be expected to lead by example for our KidPoint kids, through worship, prayer, kindness, and involvement!

Join Pastor Emily from 4:45 - 5:45 pm each Sunday night to relax and enjoy time just simply getting to know the women of CPC! No agenda just growing in our relationships with one another. This is a low commitment group! No need to come each week, just come and enjoy when you can! Our goal is to have casual, but intentional conversation.
