Are you 18-25 and looking for a place to connect? This group is for you! We will meet Sunday nights at 6:00 at Greg and Leah’s house. The evening will include a brief time of worship and devotions, food, and fun. Fun might be swimming, game night, a destination, or organized activity. The one qualification … you must bring a friend! That’s right. Bring someone who you think will benefit from hanging out each week.

If you are able to walk or roll in a wheelchair, regardless of your age, then this group is for you. Our goal is to exercise with friends as we walk different parts of Marion. An added benefit is to also exercise our faith as we pray for the neighborhoods during our walk.

Many of us are just waking up to the fact that we need recovery. We might define recovery this way: It is the simple but challenging process of daily seeking God’s will for our lives instead of demanding to go our own way. It involves letting God do for us what we cannot do for ourselves while also taking the steps necessary to draw closer to our Creator and Redeemer. It is allowing God to heal our wounded souls so we can help others in the process of their own healing. All of us need to take part in this process because no one is perfect. It’s an inherent part of being human. Our goal as we meet each week is to begin planning for a Life Recovery Community at CPC that brings Twelve Step recovery back to its original source—God’s Word.

This ministry is all about middle schoolers, grades 6-8. It gives them an opportunity to grow and serve at such a pivotal age. When teens sign up, they will commit to growing with discipleship material on prayer, worship, and other foundational areas of their walk with God. They will implement their learning by loving on the kids in KidPoint each Sunday. As they grow, these teens will be expected to lead by example for our KidPoint kids, through worship, prayer, kindness, and involvement!

This group and ministry is open to anyone interested in caring for those in need at CPC. The team will help CPC show love, and meet tangible needs. CPC desires to give support to those in the hospital, homebound, sick, or during other life events. The heart behind this ministry is that WE are the church with a God-given ability to be His hands and feet to those around us.
