GROWTH GROUPS

Join group facilitator Bev Ford for a time of prayer.  Each time we gather, we will focus on a specific prayer found in Scripture or a type of prayer modeled for us in the Bible.  There will be time to reflect and discuss the example and then individual prayer time.  We’ll finish with prayer for needs.  Group will meet in the main Sanctuary.

This ministry is for CPC seniors (60+). It will include things such as scripture, praise & worship, support for one another, potlucks, game nights, bonfires, etc.

All of us are in need of recovery in some area of life.  Life Recovery can be defined as follows:  It is the simple but challenging process of daily seeking God’s will for our lives instead of demanding to go our own way.  In recovery we let God do for us what we cannot do for ourselves.  We take the steps necessary to draw closer to our Creator and Redeemer.  We give God permission to heal our wounded souls so we can help others in the process of their own healing.  All of us need to take part in this process because no one is perfect.  It’s an inherent part of being human.  Come join us as we connect the Scriptures to the 12 Step Life Recovery process.

This group/ministry is open to those interested in caring for those in need at CenterPoint Church. The team will help the church show love and meet tangible needs. CPC gives support to those in the hospital, homebound, sick, or during other difficult life events. The heart behind this ministry is that WE are the church with a God-given ability to be His hands and feet to those around us. Ephesians 2:10 “For we are Gods workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God has prepared in advance for us to do. 1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.”

This ministry is all about middle schoolers, grades 6-12. It gives them opportunities to grow and serve at such a pivotal age. When teens sign up, they will commit to growing with discipleship material on prayer, worship, and other foundational areas of their walk with God. They will implement their learning by loving on the kids in KidPoint each Sunday. As they grow, these teens will be expected to lead by example for our KidPoint kids, through worship, prayer, kindness, and involvement!
